As a non-profit organization we are constantly reminded how lucky we are to call Central Vermont our home.

From the local legends and rolling mountains to the epic food and hidden trails, we all have a story on why we proudly call this state our backyard.

At CVFiber we believe that irrespective of location, everyone should have fair and equal access to fast, reliable,  world-class Internet. We set the bar high — and we aim to meet it.

In the upcoming years, we are constructing a 1,300-mile fiber network. We admit this is no easy task. Unpredictable weather patterns, rapidly increasing costs, and availability in funding, materials, and labor may impact our timeline, making it a big unknown for the communities we serve.

Although these factors are unpredictable, we understand the importance in keeping our communities informed with updates along the way. We have a strategic core team, dedicated volunteers, subject matter experts, and partnerships with some of the best in Vermont. Together, we are working through permitting and licensing, hanging and splicing, installing and testing each and every fiber strand — one community, one road, one pole at a time.
